- [CARS Model Chapter](https://researchwrit.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/article_swales_cars-model.pdf)

The CARS model, in a nutshell:
~
    1. Establish a research territory (context, why does it matter?, what are the key concerns in field?)
    2. Establish a niche (what is the gap? Something is either wrong, missing, or unclear)
    3. Occupy that niche.

# Additional Comments

- A figure should come with a ~100 words description (Mustafa Culha)
- The usage of "I" is always very problematic (Andrew Goss)
- If a sentence needs to be read twice to be understood, it needs to be re-written (Nicole Meyer)
